Biagioli Modesto Samarkand 100 Camel Hair Cone Yarn
From the renowned Samarkand collection by Biagioli Modesto, this luxurious 100% camel hair yarn offers remarkable softness, natural warmth, and a refined matte appearance. Spun at 2/14Nm, it creates fabrics that feel light yet insulating, with a delicate halo and exceptional next-to-skin comfort.
Camel hair is prized for its unique combination of warmth and lightness. Naturally breathable and soft, it develops a quiet elegance that suits timeless garments and heirloom-quality accessories. The yarn carries a gentle rustic character while maintaining the sophisticated touch associated with Italian spinning excellence.
As an industrial surplus yarn, this cone represents both exceptional quality and creative freedom. Suitable for both hand knitting and machine knitting, it allows makers to experience rare luxury fibers that are increasingly difficult to source in small quantities.

-
Sold as is, without retail packaging.
-
All yarns are 100% functional with no visible flaws or defects affecting usability.
-
Please note that cone yarn is wound in an industrial format.
-
In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone.
-
Unlike yarn balls, cone yarn always requires knitting a gauge swatch before starting a project to test shrinkage, stitch density, and fabric behavior.
-
Please allow approximately 2%–3% knitting loss, which is standard for cone yarn handling.
-
In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric.

⚠ Note: All yarns sold here are authentic products made by the original mills, sourced as mill ends or unused surplus from knitwear factories. We are not affiliated with or authorized by the original brands. Packaging and cone appearance may vary from official retail versions, but the product quality remains excellent. This listing is part of a sustainable effort to reuse premium industrial materials that would otherwise go to waste — perfect for makers who value both quality and conscious sourcing.
