This ultra-fine Makó cotton metallic yarn is designed as a companion strand, adding a delicate metallic glow without changing the structure or softness of your main yarn. Spun at an extremely fine 1/17.5Nm, it introduces subtle light and elegance when held together with other fibers.
The base of premium Makó cotton offers smoothness and stability, while the fine metallized filament brings a refined shimmer. Unlike bulky metallic yarns, this strand is almost weightless, allowing knitters and weavers to add light-catching detail without affecting drape or stitch definition.
Originally produced for industrial textile applications, this yarn works beautifully when paired with wool, cashmere, silk, cotton, or linen. The result is a textile surface that reflects light gently — elegant, modern, and quietly distinctive.
