Pecci Batuffolo 78 Merino Superfine 22 Nylon Roving Yarn · Nm 0.45 (Tit 2200) · Italy
This luxuriously soft roving yarn from the Italian house Pecci pairs superfine merino wool with a light nylon reinforcement, giving it exceptional loft, warmth, and a cloud-like handfeel while retaining enough integrity to hold together as a low-twist roving. At roughly Nm 0.45 (Tit 2200), it is a bulky, thick-and-airy yarn made for fast, tactile knitting and soft, voluminous fabrics.
The color 99999 is a deep black — grounded and absolute, with the quiet depth that only a true black can bring. It is especially suitable for minimal aesthetic knitwear, oversized cocooning pieces, and statement designs built around soft volume.
As an industrial surplus yarn, this cone provides consistency in spinning quality while maintaining flexibility for creative development. The superfine merino (140's) brings extraordinary softness and warmth against the skin, while the nylon adds strength and helps the roving resist pilling and wear.

• Voluminous statement pieces requiring softness and warmth
Important Notes
• This yarn is a soft, low-twist roving — handle gently while knitting to avoid drafting apart
• Work at a relaxed tension and use larger needles to let the loft breathe
• As a merino roving, it may pill with friction and wear; the nylon content helps reduce this
• For best results, swatch before production to test tension and fabric density
• Cone yarn is different from skein yarn and must always be swatched before knitting to evaluate shrinkage and gauge
• Please note that colors may vary slightly from screen to actual yarn depending on display settings
• Some cones may be rewound onto empty cones without original mill labels
• May have mild outer dust or storage marks
• Sold as is, without retail packaging
• All yarns are 100% functional with no visible flaws or defects affecting usability
• Please note that cone yarn is wound in an industrial format
• In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone
• Please allow approximately 2%–3% knitting loss, which is standard for cone yarn handling
• In case of yarn breaks, gently overlap and felt the ends together by hand, or secure with a small join, to keep the roving smooth and unbroken in the fabric
