Pecci Pannetto Melange 65 Extrafine Merino Wool 35 Nylon Brushed Cone Yarn · 1/22 Nm · Italy
This brushed extrafine merino blend yarn from the Italian house Pecci is spun as an ultra-fine single at 22,000Nm, with a short, gently raised pile that gives it a soft, close halo rather than a long, airy one. Featherlight and quietly warm, it lends a fine, powdery softness to a piece, making it especially suited to lightweight knitwear, layering pieces, and use as a delicate effect yarn.
As a melange yarn, the color is spun from blended tones that give it a subtle heathered depth rather than a flat, solid shade — understated and atmospheric, with a quiet richness that feels modern and considered. It is especially suitable for timeless knitwear, soft-focus textures, and minimal aesthetic designs.
As an industrial surplus yarn, this cone provides consistency in spinning quality while maintaining flexibility for creative development. The extrafine merino brings a naturally soft, close halo and gentle warmth, while the nylon adds resilience and lasting structure to the fiber.

Important Notes
• This yarn is an ultra-fine brushed single — very light and often best held together with another yarn for structure
• As a brushed yarn, it has a soft short halo and may shed some loose fibers, which is normal for this construction
• For best results, swatch before production to test tension, halo, and fabric density
• Cone yarn is different from skein yarn and must always be swatched before knitting to evaluate shrinkage and gauge
• To reduce shedding, shake the finished piece before washing, or place it in a bag in the freezer so loose fibers release more easily — do not use a lint roller or brush that pulls at the fibers
• As a natural wool blend, gentle handling and low-heat care are recommended to preserve softness, halo, and prevent felting
• Please note that colors may vary slightly from screen to actual yarn depending on display settings
• Some cones may be rewound onto empty cones without original mill labels
• May have mild outer dust or storage marks
• Sold as is, without retail packaging
• All yarns are 100% functional with no visible flaws or defects affecting usability
• Please note that cone yarn is wound in an industrial format
• In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone
• Please allow approximately 5%–6% waste, which is standard for cone yarn handling
• In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric
