Sawada Dande Kid Mohair Blend Cone Yarn
This lightweight brushed yarn combines the airy softness of kid mohair with the practicality of nylon and the quiet warmth of wool, creating a delicate halo with a surprisingly balanced structure. Spun at 1/13Nm, it offers an elegant combination of softness, resilience, and gentle loft for refined textile work.
The vivid magenta tone carries both richness and brightness, bringing bold color energy while still maintaining the soft diffusion characteristic of brushed mohair yarns. The surface appears luminous rather than sharp, making it especially beautiful in garments that benefit from movement, texture, and layered depth.
Produced as an industrial surplus yarn, this cone reflects the subtle irregular beauty often found in mill-end materials — practical, versatile, and full of creative possibility. Whether knitted alone for a soft translucent fabric or held together with another yarn for additional structure, it offers remarkable flexibility across different projects.

-
In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric
-
Unlike yarn balls, cone yarn should always be swatched before knitting finished garments in order to test shrinkage and gauge
