Südwolle Victoria 100 Extrafine Merino Wool Cone Yarn · 2/30Nm · Germany
This finely spun extrafine merino yarn from the German house Südwolle offers exceptional softness, warmth, and a refined, even structure, with a smooth surface and a gentle natural elasticity. Spun at 2/30Nm, it is light yet stable, making it especially suited to fine gauge knitwear and garments that ask for softness with quiet precision.
The color 2F3948 is a warm camel — grounded, golden, and understated, with a soft natural depth that feels timeless and effortless. It is especially suitable for classic knitwear, minimal aesthetic designs, and pieces built around a neutral wardrobe.
As an industrial surplus yarn, this cone provides consistency in spinning quality while maintaining flexibility for creative development. Extrafine merino brings a light, breathable warmth and a next-to-skin softness that few wools can match, while its fine spin gives finished fabrics a clean, even hand.

Important Notes
• This yarn is soft and balanced, with controlled elasticity and minimal bulk
• For best results, swatch before production to test tension and fabric density
• Cone yarn is different from skein yarn and must always be swatched before knitting to evaluate shrinkage and gauge
• Merino wool may bloom slightly after washing — a gentle wash brings out its full softness and loft
• For added structure, it can be combined with silk, nylon, or other stabilizing fibers
• Some cones may be rewound onto empty cones without original mill labels
• May have mild outer dust or storage marks
• Sold as is, without retail packaging
• All yarns are 100% functional with no visible flaws or defects affecting usability
• Please note that cone yarn is wound in an industrial format
• In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone
• Please allow approximately 2%–3% knitting loss, which is standard for cone yarn handling
• In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric
