52 Wool 22 Alpaca 26 Nylon Brushed Cone Yarn
This brushed cone yarn blends 52% wool, 22% alpaca, and 26% nylon, spun at 1/4.3Nm, creating a soft, airy surface with a stable internal structure. The fluffy halo comes entirely from natural animal fibers, while nylon functions purely as a structural support — reinforcing durability without interfering with the handfeel.
The color Dusty Purple (552) is muted and atmospheric — a softened violet with a calm, powdery tone. Subtle rather than decorative, it pairs beautifully with minimalist silhouettes and texture-driven designs.
As an industrial surplus brushed yarn, this cone balances warmth, loft, and resilience. It is well suited for garments and textiles where softness and structure must coexist.

Important Notes
-
Unlike skein yarn, cone yarn always requires a swatch test before knitting to determine shrinkage and gauge
-
This yarn is soft and fluid with minimal natural structure
-
For added body, it can be held together with one or two strands of linen or other structured yarns
-
Some cones are rewound onto empty cones without original mill labels
-
May have mild outer dust or storage marks
-
Sold as is, without retail packaging
-
All yarns are 100% functional with no visible flaws or defects affecting usability.
-
Please note that cone yarn is wound in an industrial format.
In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone.
-
Please allow approximately 2%–3% knitting loss, which is standard for cone yarn handling.
-
In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric.
