Zegna Marble 100 Extrafine Merino Wool Cone Yarn
This expressive slub yarn is spun from 100% merino wool, featuring irregular thick-and-thin segments that create a natural, organic rhythm across the surface. At 1/5.2Nm, it offers a balanced structure—substantial enough for outerwear while maintaining the softness and elasticity merino is known for.
The colorway blends AB tones in a softly shifting palette, producing a layered visual depth reminiscent of stone textures and natural mineral patterns. The uneven slub construction enhances this effect, allowing light and shadow to interact dynamically across the knitted surface.
As an industrial surplus yarn from Zegna, this cone embodies both technical precision and creative freedom. The lively texture makes it especially suitable for statement pieces, offering makers a material that naturally introduces variation, movement, and artistic character into their work.

-
All yarns are 100% functional with no visible flaws or defects affecting usability.
-
Please note that cone yarn is wound in an industrial format.
In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone.
-
Please allow approximately 2%–3% knitting loss, which is standard for cone yarn handling.
-
In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric.
