IIF Art Texkid Mohair Cone Yarn -- Industria Italiana Filati
This ultra-fine Italian mohair yarn from the Art Texkid series is designed to create airy texture, soft halo, and lightweight warmth with remarkable elegance. Spun at an exceptionally delicate 1/10000Nm, it offers a refined floating softness that works beautifully both alone and held together with other yarns.
The composition is centered around mohair, while polyamide provides subtle structural support and durability, allowing the yarn to maintain stability without compromising its softness or cloud-like handfeel. The result is a balanced lace-weight yarn with gentle resilience and a sophisticated brushed surface.
Color 4366 is a muted khaki green — earthy, understated, and quietly modern. The tone carries a natural softness that pairs especially well with neutrals, faded tones, linen textures, and layered knitwear palettes.
As an industrial surplus yarn sourced from Italian production, this cone reflects the beauty of professional mill materials: practical, consistent, and full of creative possibility for thoughtful makers.

Unlike yarn balls, cone yarn should always be swatched before knitting to test shrinkage, gauge, and fabric behavior
-
In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone
-
Please allow approximately 2%–3% knitting loss, which is standard for cone yarn handling
-
In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric
