Tollegno 100 Extrafine Merino Wool Cone Yarn · 8/30Nm · Italy
This pure extrafine merino yarn from the Italian mill Tollegno offers exceptional softness, warmth, and a smooth, rounded handfeel, with a clean and even surface. Spun at 8/30Nm, it is a substantial worsted-weight yarn — plump, cushioned, and full-bodied — making it especially rewarding for hand knitting and pieces with real presence.
The color 10008 is a deep, saturated black — quietly absolute, with a soft matte depth that reads as considered rather than severe. It is especially suitable for timeless knitwear, wardrobe staples, and minimal aesthetic designs where form and stitch definition speak for themselves.
As an industrial surplus yarn, this cone provides consistency in spinning quality while maintaining flexibility for creative development. Extrafine merino brings a low micron softness, natural warmth, and gentle elasticity, giving finished pieces comfort next to the skin and a refined, luxurious hand.

Important Notes
• This yarn is soft and full-bodied, with good stitch definition and natural elasticity
• Its weight and hand make it particularly well suited to hand knitting
• For best results, swatch before production to test tension and fabric density
• Cone yarn is different from skein yarn and must always be swatched before knitting to evaluate shrinkage and gauge
• Merino wool relaxes and blooms after washing — a gentle wash brings out its softness and fullness
• For added structure or durability, it can be combined with silk, nylon, or other stabilizing fibers
• Some cones may be rewound onto empty cones without original mill labels
• May have mild outer dust or storage marks
• Sold as is, without retail packaging
• All yarns are 100% functional with no visible flaws or defects affecting usability
• Please note that cone yarn is wound in an industrial format
• In rare cases, internal breaks may not be visible from the outside of the cone
• Please allow approximately 2%–3% knitting loss, which is standard for cone yarn handling
• In case of yarn breaks, pull away about 10 cm of yarn before rejoining and secure with a small cross-knot to reduce tension and avoid distortion in the knitted fabric
